Properties and benefits of oatmeal

Today we will discuss the properties and benefits of oatmeal.

As an introduction I will say that oatmeal is one of the cereals that contain higher percentage of protein, fiber, unsaturated fats and Vitamin B. That is why I use in my breakfast every day, to prepare a shake with high protein content, then I will explain.

Thanks to its high content of fiber, carbohydrates and protein, this breakfast satisfied us all morning avoiding the "snacking between meals."

Another benefit of oatmeal is that it helps our body to lower bad cholesterol (LDL) and maintains our good cholesterol (HDL).

Also, contain soluble fiber, helps the heart to reduce the risk of heart disease.

It is a food that can be consumed in a lot of different ways: hot or cold milk, yogurt with nuts, in its many flavors as "biscuit", "strawberries and cream", "chocolate" or even a " scoop "of whey protein ... it's up to each of you, variety is the spice!

Another positive points that I want to show is its price, since about 2 kg of oatmeal us out for about 10 Euros or so, and that amount is more than enough for a month or two, depending on how we use it .

protein breakfast with oatmeal:
Now I will teach you the smoothie I prepare every day for breakfast. It Contains:

250 ml creamy yogurt sweetened
30 grams (one scoop) Oatmeal
30 grams (one scoop) of whey protein
It's as simple as mixing well these three ingredients in a blender and enjoy! I assure you that the taste is great, and that will keep us satisfied until our next meal.

This particular breakfast, we will provide about 350 calories in total, and a highly recommended macronutrient for our breakfasts as are about 30 grams of protein, 35 grams of carbohydrates and only a mere 7 grams of fat.
