How to Make Homemade Fish Broth

How to prepare a fish stock?

Note: These ingredients are to prepare 4 servings.

    1 liter of water.
    1 onion diced.
    Two cloves of garlic, peeled and cut into small pieces.
    Diced carrot.
    A potato dices.
    One pound of fish, either tilapia, sea bass, cod, etc.
    Two lemons.
    Two pounds of fresh fish head.
    Four sprigs of cilantro and celery.
    Pepper to taste.
    A sprig of parsley.
    Salt to taste.
    Olive oil.
    Two tomatoes.

Preparation method:

First you have to wash the fish, drain well and add salt and a few drops of lemon. Then heated oil in a pan and start frying the onions, celery, tomatoes and garlic, add the potatoes, carrots and fish heads.

After a few minutes add water to these boil, add salt and pepper to taste, if some way be sure to remove foam and simmer for a time of 20 minutes over low heat, uncovered.
