recipes that can satisfy our quest for gastronomic pleasure. Unfortunately we
not always find that unique flavor that characterizes a specific dish; such as
hamburgers.
Many people who try veggie burgers describe them as
"dry" or "insufficient". For some it may be a problem of
mass based on beans, oats, lentils, soybeans or mushrooms; for others, the lack
of meaty flavor.
Therefore we share a recipe for the best veggie
burger you'll love:
Total time: 1 ½ hours (plus two hours of refreshing)
Ingredients: 113 g of firm and dry tofu, olive oil,
230g of mushrooms cremini (cut), ¾ tablespoons salt, pepper, 1 can of dried
beans, beets (peeled and crushed), ¾ cup almonds, 1 / 3 cup crumbs panko bread,
56 g of Cotija cheese (½ cup), 2 eggs, 2 tablespoons mayonnaise, 2 chopped
onions, 3 cloves garlic (finely chopped), ¾ tablespoons sweet paprika or
pepper, 114 g of cut tempeh, ½ cup brown rice (cooked).
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 218 ° C. Cut the tofu into strips
and dry it with a napkin. Then after brushing a tray with olive oil, tofu
strips placed on one half of the tray. Sprinkle the mushrooms in half. Take a
mixture of two tablespoons of olive oil, salt and pepper.
In the next tray, place the beans and beets with a
tablespoon of olive oil, salt and pepper. Then spread the mixture in one layer.
Transfer the two trays in the oven. After 25
minutes, when the vegetables are roasted and soft, and the water has
evaporated, bring them out. Let cool.
Place almonds in a grinder to powder. Add the
mixture of beets and beans, mushrooms, tofu, panko, cheese, eggs, mayonnaise,
onion, garlic, paprika and ¾ teaspoon salt. Until all ingredients are combined,
add the tempeh and rice. Be considerate you want small pieces, no dust. Cuts
through the mix in a bowl and refrigerate for two hours.
When you are ready, divide the mixture into six
equal portions and form a circle with them. Put them back in the refrigerator.
Heat the grill. Asa mass over low heat, until they
are charred each portion on both sides (about 4 to 6 minutes per side). Serve
