Fancy a roast chestnuts?

Fancy a roast chestnuts?
Easy diet food recipes - Today we mean the right amount of nuts for a snack, and we will also give nutritional assessment of this fruit so rich.

5 chestnuts (about 50 g) equals 100 calories, that is, the same as a piece of standard fruit (an apple or an orange for example).
As usually sell 10 chestnuts for one euro, you could take for a snack, half packet of chestnuts instead of the piece of fruit snack. The other half can share it with someone or leave it as dessert at dinner :)
NUTRITIONAL ASSESSMENT
Despite being a nut, chestnuts composition more closely resembles that of cereals.
Chestnuts are rich in complex carbohydrates, these occupy almost half of its composition.
The complex carbohydrates are slowly absorbed by the body, so as to maintain balanced sugar levels and reduce hunger longer.
In addition, the amount of fat is also quite similar to the grain and thus significantly lower for the rest containing the nuts. Thanks to these properties and its water content is about 50%, the chestnut is one of the nuts of lower calorie content even with that, 100 g of chestnut (about 10 units) provide almost 200 calories !!
As for minerals, phosphorus and chestnuts stand, with lesser amounts in potassium and magnesium. The contents of vitamins are not very significant, being higher for B vitamins (B1, B2, B3 and B6) and somewhat lower for vitamin E.
We must not forget that raw nuts are rich in tannins. So eat them in this state can cause intestinal discomfort. In this regard, it is recommended that, once recogidas- chestnuts to be stored for seven or ten days, so that in this period decrease tannin content and starch into sugars more assimilable. In any case, eating raw chestnuts is recommended to remove the brown skin there immediately after the crust.
Furthermore, cooking or roasting chestnuts favors the transformation of carbohydrates, making them more digestible food.
